People, not planets change

The Earth ceased to stand and started…
The sides switched steadily.
The eyes once sparkled near scarlet cheeks…
When a love filled glance given…
Now stare fixedly on phone, anything but love driven.

The communicated woes in whisper…
Converted to arguments in anger.
The slow strolling by each other’s side…
Living the lively journey without a care…
Now peace-less paces to a destination that none cared.

Looking up to the starry sky in a moonless night…
You ask yourself when wrong was born out of right.
The cool breeze breathes in the ears…
Reckless reaper reminded of the worst fears…
That the strongest cloth cut minutely, easily tears.

The Earth roamed round, arrived at the beginning…
Postions of planets, satellites, stars still in the same race…
The year old people however, too tough to trace.

    This would be that one poem where there is no specific line that I loved, because each line is so beautifully worded, that it looks just so perfect!
    This is so amazing. Painful yes, but beautiful. This goes to my list of favorites.

        Poetry close to you reflects the most and speaks more than the words written in. They just need to be heard by people who care enough.
        I hope everything with you is going great and that you’re happy. What you indicated in the poem is what we usually deny, however, I hope your phase, in case it is there, passes soon.

    Alliteration! Combined with such deep thoughts. We change a little each day, whether noticeable or not.. And then at the end of a time, bang! It’s all visibly different. And there’s no going back…

        Completely agree… Life goes on… Can I share with you something… it was shared by a friend of mine…“I don’t know if there will be a time when we would be able to bottle up and market the endorphin (happy hormones) or zip it and make it downloadable, but the little secret is… Our body can manufacture it in plenty… it’s free… Let’s make the most of it!” .
        The verb “is” is the Zen of life… and there is a reason why Gifts are also referred to as “presents”. Stay happy… stay blessed and keep mesmerizing us with your masterpieces. 🙂 🙂
