A time when headlights outnumber
The compassionate eyes seen on road
Hearts are usually found bleeding
Waiting to be crushed, while ego shadowed
A city where soothing plants are
Mercilessly cut and carved
To spread natural green beauty
Where humanity starved
A night which never experiences dark
The rush dazzles it like love
In brightness, light is nowhere to be seen
So bringing everyone together, flew a brave dove
So this was the picture from Karol Bagh metro station (where photography is illegal) for the Day 3 of the Five Photos, Five Stories challenge, nominated by a perfectionist in the armchair, Prajakta.
I would nominate the dove, Kritika for this challenge now so that the joy of being an audience for her writings, photography and sketching could be shared with all of you.
The challenge is – “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”
It was in in total synchronization with pic

Farmers come to their homes after sunset 😛
I have no idea why, but joined a silly internship for a month. And ruined the last holidays of my life.

It is amazing how some places that seem so alive has to have so much natural death. Wonderful imagery and perfectly fitting with your photo. Why has photography in that location been made illegal?

As always, a wonderful start to my day after your insights 🙂 Thank you !
And probably because of the security reasons, photography at all metro stations has been prohibited here

In our rushing lives you took the time out to pause, ponder and give us something so beautiful! Thank you for making me pause and wonder 🙂

Making a thinker pause and wonder? Hardly anything notable 😛
Though, I thank you for your lovely words 😀

You make me sound like an intellectual when, actually, I am far from it! 😉 Miles to go, before I sleep…

I make you sound like an intellectual when you are from it? Is the relativity at play here? Are you calling me a fool that even you sound intellectual? xD
Where’s my lawyer? 😀

Call as many lawyers as you want! I want to see who takes up the case 😉 And when someone does, and you’re tired of waiting for the trial to begin in court, call me! We’ll reconcile out of court over coffee! 😉 😛
In short, stop ‘fool’ing around with relativity. I know how good a thinker you are too 🙂 *no sarcasm at all*!

This is quite challenging, considering the fact that you are writing such evocative poems :O
The poem had all what was there in the picture and in an amazing way.
Thank you for nominating me for this challenge. It sure does sound interesting! 😀
I need to visit some places, soon! 😛

I even expected so much from the movie ‘Gabbar is back’ before I watched it today. And its your creativity we are talking about here ! 😛
But yah, there is no pressure. Let it come from the soul to the nib of the pen. (I am sorry, but I love this title and thus, the repeated references)

Either you have watched all other movies or you expect from him too much 😛
Yes yes, I’ll. Thank you ^_^

Well, wow.
This is quite a brilliant piece of poetry. And the timeframe makes it all the more impressive.
Also, I won’t be surprised if I run into you someday, while you are swiping your card at the exit gate.

Also, the link to your blog being shown here is thelifealmanac.wordpress.com. But it doesn’t work.
